Lab for hyperspectral and multispectral imaging at Fraunhofer IWS

The hyperspectral imaging (HSI) and multispectral imaging are techniques fort he spatial and spectral recording of images. They combine the advantages of well-known UV-, VIS, NIR- and MIR-spectroscopy with the advantages of exisiting machine vision systems. The high recording speed of the spectral images allow all applications from laboratory scale to process intregated maesurements. By an intelligent data anlysis and combination of spectral and picture-based information analysis fundamentally new, powerful applications under ‚Industry 4.0‘ and ‚Big Data‘ can be established.
