Print and sintering technology

For applying pastes and inks we use dispenser and aerosoljet printers. Printed structures can be dried, hardened or sintered with a variety of methods such as hot plates, convection and IR ovens, laser radiation of several wavelengths or even atmospheric pressure plasma.

Paste and ink manufacturing

Competence in material science serves as the basic framework for the development of several printed components. Application-specific pastes and inks based on polymers, ceramics, metals or semiconductors are being developed and characterized for different printing technologies.

Analytics

Our group applies versatile methods for the characterization of printable pastes, inks (e.g. rheological tests) and printed structures (e.g. electrical conductivity, thermoelectric properties). On request it is also possible to rely on our extensive IWS analytic equipment.
