Our processes enable low-damage weld joints, which are particularly relevant for thin-walled cell structures. For batteries with high power density, especially for individual transport, numerous contacts consisting of copper and aluminum must be joined efficiently.

By the help of highly brillant laser beam sources, high-performance layers can be realized, which lead to excellent results, especially with highly reflective materials. We develop efficient processes that reduce critical intermetallic phases in the mixed joint and guarantee good joining properties.
