Service offers

For the coating of components made of steel, light metals, ceramics, concrete, among others, atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) and high velocity spraying (HVOF and HVAF), using both powders and suspensions as feedstock, are available at IWS.

In cooperation with other Fraunhofer Institutes, the spectrum includes:

• design of appropriate coating systems for high stress situations
• tailored coating solutions: from material up to coated component
• development and manufacture of technical systems components
• assistance in the system integration
• support of the users for the technological implementation
