Every 4^th Thursday of April - that it: next time 25^th April 2013, we open our doors to female pupils (fifth class). During the Girls`Day the girls get acquainted with jobs within the field of applied science and may “play” female engineer a whole day.

In the beginning of December 2011 the popular Junior Doctor Program Dresden will start again. Soon you will get more information about the program 2011/12 and registration.

The “Junior Doctor” is part of a series of events, organized by “Netwerk Stadt der Wissenschaft”, Dresden.

The idea School@Fraunhofer addresses pupils, visiting the classes 9-12.

The Fraunhofer institutes in Dresden present various subjects on their sites. Thus the pupils can inform themselves about research subjects and possibilities to study them at the university.

Everybody who has visited Fraunhofer during the „Lange Nacht der Wissenschaft“ will be sure that he is going to experience some surprising things. Those, who have never been in the institute center of Dresden, should try this outstanding opportunity.

Next year Fraunhofer institutes will present a variety of subjects, dealing with either energy, environment, health, nanotechnology, or innovative materials. Fraunhofer has always an idea and will present some of them at the “Long Night of Science" on 5^th July 2013.
