The group `Printing technology” focuses its work on the development of aerosol-based procedures for large-area or structured film deposition at atmospheric pressure. Processed materials are metals, conductive oxides, barrier coatings, thermoelectrics and CNTs. Furthermore, our scientists work on energy efficient procedures for the fabrication and finishing of carbon fibers by combining different energy sources.

For the fabrication of tools and prototypes made of foil- or metal materials, comprehensive process chains, starting with data import and ending with finishing processes, have been developed.
